Co-Founder and Managing Director at iGaming NEXT

Pierre Lindh is a Swedish entrepreneur and iGaming veteran with over 15 years of experience in the industry. He co-founded iGaming NEXT in 2019, building it into one of the most recognized community and media platforms in the global online gaming space, known for its award-winning summits, podcast, and news portal. With a background spanning hundreds of industry events and an extensive network of senior executives, operators, and investors, Pierre is widely regarded as one of the most connected figures in iGaming.

Co-Founder and Managing Director, iGaming NEXT

Pierre Lindh does not write about iGaming from a distance. He has been inside the industry since 2004, when he opened an underground poker club in Sweden at the age of 18, navigated police raids, and went on to lobby for poker legalisation at a national level. That experience, equal parts practical and political, shaped the way he approaches every piece of content he produces: grounded in how the industry actually works, not how press releases describe it.

Background and Professional Experience

Pierre’s career spans over 15 years across multiple disciplines within iGaming, including affiliate marketing, key account management, community building, and media. Before co-founding iGaming NEXT, he served as an Operations Manager and Key Account Manager at Gamon Solutions Limited, where he managed large affiliate brands and developed new revenue streams. He also led the revival of Prosharks AB, Sweden’s largest poker community, increasing revenue by 50% within a single year through repositioning and operational restructuring.

Between 2013 and 2019, Pierre organised more than 600 individual industry events across Malta and internationally, collaborating with major conferences including SiGMA and MIGS during their formative years. This period gave him a direct, operational understanding of how iGaming businesses grow, network, and communicate with each other at every level of seniority.

In 2019, Pierre co-founded iGaming NEXT alongside his business partner, combining their combined 25-plus years of industry experience to build a dedicated media, events, and publishing platform for iGaming professionals and investors. The platform now encompasses a widely followed podcast series, a news portal covering regulation, investment, technology and operator strategy, and a flagship annual summit held in Valletta, Malta, which was awarded Event of the Year in the industry. iGaming NEXT has since expanded to New York and continues to attract thousands of senior executives, regulators, and capital-side attendees each year.

Pierre holds a background in social economy and marketing from Alströmmergymnasiet in Sweden.

Areas of Expertise

Pierre’s editorial focus centres on the structural and strategic dynamics of the global iGaming market. His core areas of expertise include:

  • Online gambling regulation and compliance frameworks across European and US markets
  • iGaming investment trends, operator economics, and market-entry strategy
  • Affiliate marketing and B2B growth models within online gaming
  • Responsible gambling practices and sustainable industry development
  • Emerging technologies in iGaming, including crypto-native platforms and AI-driven product development
  • Community building and thought leadership within the iGaming professional space

His commentary draws directly on conversations he has conducted with CEOs, analysts, regulators, and investors across hundreds of podcast episodes, panels, and summit keynotes. He is not a commentator who synthesises secondary sources: his insights come from primary relationships built over more than a decade inside the industry.

Published Work and Media Presence

Pierre is the host of the iGaming NEXT Podcast, a long-running series that has published over 100 episodes featuring senior figures from operators, platform providers, investment firms, and regulatory bodies. Guests have included Morgan Stanley gaming analyst Thomas Allen, Evolution CPO Todd Haushalter, Yolo Investments GP Tim Heath, and Eilers and Krejcik Gaming partner Chris Grove, among many others.

His written and editorial work appears on the iGaming NEXT platform, where he also oversees the editorial direction of the news desk. He has been featured and interviewed by iGaming Business (iGB), Casinos.com, iGaming Future, iGaming Leader, and Cuiprodest, among other industry publications. He has appeared as a speaker and moderator at major iGaming conferences, including his own summits in Malta and New York.

Editorial Independence and Approach

Content produced or overseen by Pierre Lindh operates under a strict separation between editorial and commercial interests. Sponsored content, partner announcements, and advertising placements are clearly labelled and handled independently of editorial decisions. Pierre does not accept payment to alter the framing or conclusions of editorial coverage, and does not endorse products or services in editorial contexts.

His analytical approach is built on direct sourcing: where possible, claims are drawn from primary interviews, official regulatory filings, company announcements, or verified industry data rather than aggregated reporting. When conclusions are speculative or opinion-based, they are framed as such.

Pierre is particularly focused on responsible gambling as both a regulatory and business issue. He has consistently used the iGaming NEXT platform to give voice to perspectives on player protection, sustainable operator models, and the long-term reputational stakes of how the industry manages harm. He believes transparent discussion of these issues, rather than avoidance, serves both the industry and the public better.

Why This Matters for Readers

Most iGaming content is produced at arm’s length from the decisions and relationships that actually shape the industry. Pierre’s position, as both a media operator and an active participant in the iGaming community since his teens, gives him access and context that is difficult to replicate. He has sat across the table from the CEOs, investors, and regulators he covers. He understands how deals are structured, why regulation shifts in one market ripple through licensing decisions in another, and how operator economics actually behave under pressure.

That proximity is both an asset and a responsibility. Pierre takes it seriously.
